When I was pregnant with my daughter (born in 2001) we made the decision to use cloth nappies based on the facts of environmental issues.

The more we researched the subject of reuseable nappies the more we realised that there was very little we knew and not much local information available in North Devon. (Most of my research has been done on the Internet). So we decided to start Bummdiddy Baby.

Our aim as a company is to inform you about the choices of washable nappies available and the issues involved in the choices you make. Please see the about us section for more information about our environmental and ethical policies.

We (my children and my friends children) have tested and are still testing an extensive range of nappy products giving us 6 years experience of washable nappies and related items.

Since starting the website we have been sourcing lots of new products to compliment our range of nappies and now stock a range of environmental and ethical products including fair trade and wooden toys, natural skin care and bed and bath items.

In 2006 we decided that the original Bummdiddy Baby site had become too big and in 2007 launched a new sister company Natural-E Co. Bummdiddy Baby is now back to being an environmentally friendly and ethical baby and toddler site while Natural-E Co has a great range of skin care, cleaning products, gifts, stationary and more for home, family and friends.
