As a company we try to be as environmentally responsible as possible by only using recycled paper for our catalogues, letters, etc and when ever possible will recycle old packaging to send out orders. We source much of our packaging from local factories so please don’t expect orders to arrive in shiny new envelopes and boxes as often they won’t. We do sometimes use poly envelopes to protect items which may get water damaged but try to source ones that are recyclable.

In October 2006 I also attended and passed an IOSH course in Managing Environmental Responsibilities and have implemented what I learnt during this time into the running of the business.

We hope to keep our carbon footprint for Bummdiddy Baby as low as possible and at the same time provide you with products that are high quality, environmentally responsible, organic, natural and fair trade. We expect our suppliers to know where and how their products are produced and if they cannot tell us this we do not stock them.

In addition to this I offer approximately 5% of my work time to local organisations who actively promote environmental issues and donate a small sum of money each month to larger organisations who work to protect and care for our environment.
